Review on 3Pcs Quick Release Speed Clip Chin Strap Pull Buckle for Motorcycle Plastic Helmets by James Hardin

I have a Bell Pit Boss helmet and wanted to convert it to quick disconnects. I have a two-piece plastic connector now, but I wanted the same one on my husband's Daytona helmet. It seemed to be just what I needed. But as soon as we received them and tried to install them, it became clear that nothing works without the cutting and sewing of the helmet straps. And it's just a risk I don't wanna take The part of the clip where the strap goes is too narrow for the straps on my helmet. I would have to cut off the ends of the factory straps because you can't fit buttons or buckles through the clip. Also, it is not possible to leave the straps in the clips without sewing them around the clips. I don't have a sewing machine, but if I did, I still wouldn't feel comfortable doing my sewing work on my helmet. Not to mention that modifying it in this way will void the warranty on my helmet. They will be returned by post. For comparison I've looked at the clips on my husband's helmet and they actually seem to be a bit narrower than his and he has thinner straps on his helmet than mine.
