It didn't take long before they started falling apart

I have a pair of Asics running shoes from the last 3 years that I have had no problems with. But these hiking boots didn't even last 6 months before holes appeared in them. I contacted Asics customer service to make a warranty claim but they were utterly useless. They said that since I ordered from ebay I would have to file a claim with ebay. I contacted ebay who then contacted Asics on my behalf but Asics told them they couldn't help me. A few weeks later ebay gave me my money back and I used the money to buy a pair of Nike walking shoes which have held up really well.

I bought them and put them on for the first time while on vacation at the end of May when they were already torn. Not happy with how much Asics costs.
