Review on πŸ’Ύ Corsair CMFVY3A-32GB 32 GB USB 3.0 Flash Voyager Flash Drive - High-speed and Reliable Storage Solution by Matt Williams

Revainrating 4 out of 5

As mentioned, it breaks at the solder joints where the tab attaches to the case/drive.

I had a 16GB Corsair that was really good and still works, so I bought one of these 32GB models. Unfortunately for me they weren't up to date. The USB tab that fits into the USB slot is not properly secured to the drive case. Those solder joints cracked and it stopped working. The tongue was so loose it was dangling, wiggling back and forth so for me the soldering was done poorly, or the tab was somehow poorly supported/designed. Oh it worked for a while.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Some flaws
