I had a 16GB Corsair that was really good and still works, so I bought one of these 32GB models. Unfortunately for me they weren't up to date. The USB tab that fits into the USB slot is not properly secured to the drive case. Those solder joints cracked and it stopped working. The tongue was so loose it was dangling, wiggling back and forth so for me the soldering was done poorly, or the tab was somehow poorly supported/designed. Oh it worked for a while.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Some flaws

Very fast transfer but not always connected

This is a great USB drive and with its large capacity and transfer speed 3.0 you might think that nothing will go unsatisfactory. But alas, there is. Oftentimes, it just connects as if it's plugged into a USB 2.0 port, when in fact it's plugged into a 3.0 port. As a result, you can spend a lot of time waiting for a transfer that should be faster, but is slowed down by the transfer at 2.0 instead of 3.0. For those of you who don't know the difference, 3.0 has a transfer rate 10 times faster than

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Useless features

I've had several of these picks ranging in size from 8GB to 128GB. I liked them when I first started using them, but not so much now. First, they're wider than most thumb drives and tend to partially block an adjacent USB slot, making them difficult to use at the same time. The worst thing is that they are short-lived. I've used them a lot and they all break after about a year of use. The problem I think is that the soft shell allows the circuit board inside to flex and you end up cracking theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Cute
Cons
  • The cable is shorter than the others
