Got 2 packs for my friend and I. I have a dash mount that I used, but when I upgraded my phone and got a slightly thicker case than my last one, it no longer fit. Previously I used a sticky pad that melted in the Midwest heat and left a pile of goo on the dash that I'm still trying to peel off. So I looked for a less permanent solution. Vents in general, mostly due to heat flow (now I make sure I use defrost vents instead of "face" vents when my phone is plugged in), but as far as cleanliness goes, this thing is solid! Just make sure you have the tighter side when sticking it in the vent. I found that I had to adjust it for the best fit. My phone has been dropped twice in maybe two weeks (once on a train track). My friend pointed out that the magnet between my phone and the case is most likely lower. I'm in the habit now of consciously aiming it and playing around with it a bit to make sure it's not going anywhere, and it hasn't gone anywhere since! Super easy to use, great for listening to music, using GPS or just want to put your phone on it to know where it is. I love that I don't have to permanently attach anything (but they give you the option if you have to). Highly recommended.
