boxes in which connections are made are tiny. It is difficult to tighten the nut on the Romex connector. Use snap connectors. The included wire nuts can hold wires from 2-14 gauge together but forget about 12 gauge as you will need to use larger plugs and they should be snug. When retrofitting, it's nice to be able to fish out the wires from one hole to the next and make the connections without climbing the attic, but the square junction box is wider than the light hole cut because it has wings on the sides. . You will need to cut slits on the side of the opening to lift the box from the ceiling. As a rule, the saved costs are lost during installation. I won't buy this again.
