Had to replace a 27" iMac Retina with a laptop and needed a larger display. While I wasn't expecting Retina quality (it isn't), I was pleasantly surprised at how sharp it is given the price, and appreciate the extra horizontal real estate Don't worry about the built in speakers they are terrible but the USB-C connection is great, connects and charges my M1 Macbook Pro with no issues and found it to be the best workaround to take advantage of the extra screen size , since Apple didn't allow dual displays with their update without investing in expensive hubs.In short, if you want that dual monitor feel, good picture and plug-and-play connectivity for the M1, this is it the best value for money I could find.
