This little hockey puck sized device was easy to set up and use. After about 1 minute I plugged it into a Sony speaker/dock (for a tablet I no longer use) and paired it with my phone. I've always liked the speaker's sound quality, but it only has an RCA input (no built-in Bluetooth, etc.). With this bluetooth receiver I can now use my phone with this speaker via bluetooth. What I really like about this receiver, and what I think sets it apart from others, are the controls right on the receiver itself for play/pause and volume. It sits on my desktop right next to my keyboard and the controls are right at my fingertips! I would love it to be a BT transmitter as well, but that doesn't merit disapproval or diminish the usefulness or value of this transmitter. Device as a solid BT receiver.
