Coarse Magnet & Construction

Can't say I like it or even "okay" considering it doesn't quite live up to the advertised specs. I figured the magnet should be strong enough to hold it to the side of the lawn mower hood and hold a full 12 ounces. Can. He can not. It fell off my lawn mower multiple times causing me to lose all my drink. I would not recommend buying this to use on the side of a mower hood or fender. The magnet just can't handle it. Instead, I use it on a flat surface between my legs. The mower's "firewall" is flat and metal so the magnet grabs it and the bottom of the cart rests on the flat part. The magnet is strong enough to prevent it from slipping back and forth, allowing me to hold the drink in that position. While I don't want my drink there, it's stable and still within reach. One positive thing I can say is that the car feels solid. I fell off the lawnmower several times and hit it once with the front wheel. He turned and came out seemingly unharmed. I didn't notice any immediate damage and it continues to work in the position I'm currently using it. UPDATE: I tried to remove my cart and the magnet came loose from the case. Looking at the attachment points, I'm surprised it's lasted so long. I will try to stick it again and keep using it but I expected it to last more than 2 months. I am changing my rating from 2 to 1 star.
