My current bedspread is also made the same way, but costs about $500 more! I wanted to see if I could find one that would fit summer, lighter, etc. It fits my electric queen bed perfectly, the piping ends right where I want it and the length locks in just right. Electric beds work best with a custom duvet. Ivory is a true ivory that pairs well with linen and white fabrics. It's not even $70! I like it more every minute. If my puppy or grandchildren spoil it, it's not a big loss. I will use it for a pattern that my upholsterer or even tailor/cleaner will have made for me in improved fabric. It should be cheaper than a full custom build.
