Use this for shooting sports games and it works very well. The inside of the mount is padded with foam so you'll need to use some force to hold the device firmly in place before the mount snaps into place, but that was common sense to me. Others, I think, not so much. During filming this is not a problem. This is only an issue when walking around with a tripod and device in the mount. If you don't tighten it firmly, it may slip out. The locking mechanism works well and stays in place. Have used it numerous times so far with no problems. The only downside is that the plastic is a bit thin. It's not made of ABS plastic which is a much more durable plastic. But I think if you just handle it carefully it will last a long time. 4/5
