I love this car. I received it last Monday and started using it in my house. I didn't really try any adjustments on the timer, I just took it out of the box following the "Before Use" section of the book on page 6 and let it go. It has a sensor that tells you when to turn it on, so I just let it run automatically. Really easy to install and use, I think in my house it's not bad to have a central air conditioner with a good filter where the fan circulates the air and the air purifier doesn't have to work hard. As for the noise level, I've attached some photos where the lower number is the central AC unit and filter on standby and the higher number is the filter running about 1 foot away. As you can see, there isn't much of a difference, so it's easy to live with. Overall I am very satisfied with this device.
