I have a 15 year old Australian who NEVER liked having her paws touched. Due to age, she had rough and inflamed bunions. I began gently stroking Natureland over her pads each night. It took about 2 days for her gait to improve. After 3 days the pads softened and healed. Small things have a big impact. I recommend using it at night so the dog can sleep with the wax applied. There was no problem with her trying to lick it off. Although she wrestles with me when I touch her paws, I can see that she likes the wax on her pads. Now I use it every night to keep her pads in good condition. Definitely recommend.
