I got one like this to connect to my iPod video (along with an iFlash SATA adapter) and there were only problems: firstly it didn't work in Rockbox so I just had to use the standard one iPod firmware. It's half my library! Then I left it at home during the trip and when I came back a year and a half later I found the SSD was just DEAD! I sit on my desk and do nothing on the iPod! I even plugged it into my laptop's mSATA slot to test it and the Linux kernel was VERY unhappy with it! If it doesn't even work properly in an iPod for more than a year, then it's probably the SSD that you should avoid.
