I don't leave enough reviews but this trimmer is great so far! I had no idea how good the ergonomics would be. Makes it easier to get into those hard to reach places etc. I used it mostly on the lower areas, checking the shoulders and chest. I also only had one day so I can't comment on the battery life or the trimmer's longevity. The protector is very safe and you can hardly cut yourself while wearing it. It won't cut into bare skin, but it's close enough that I'm happy and not worried about injury. It takes a lot of passes with the protector as it lets a lot of hair through each time. I also used it without a protector in the buttocks area. As in the cheeks and without cuts. When the guard is removed, it cuts all the hair in one go. I will say that the best way is to sit on the toilet to trim this area as it will open up and all the hair will go straight into the toilet. The adjustable adapter is very cool and seems to work well. I did a small patch on my chest and it worked fine. Sorry for all the TMI "butts" hope this helps someone else :)
