Review on Safety Harness And Shock Absorbing Lanyard Kit With Snap Hook End - 6Ft Stretchable Cord And Permanent Attachment By WELKFORDER by John Arrow

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I should have looked more closely at the picture

I didn't notice the lanyard is permanently attached to the dorsal D ring. Between the length of the lanyard and the 4' of the external shock absorber one will fall almost 10 feet real deceleration starts. I'm working at 15 feet and can only tie off a couple of feet above that, so I've got to buy an internal shock absorbing lanyard that will keep me from hitting the ground. Guess I'll leave the other lanyard on and carry the weight, in case I need it to go higher on another project.

Pros
  • Worth it
Cons
  • The safety harness may not fit all body types, making it uncomfortable and cumbersome to wear for extended periods of time
