I wanted a headset with great surround sound for gaming and a great mic. After looking at a few reviews, I clicked on a few of them. The sound is great. I'll honestly admit that I've had very few gaming headsets, so I'm sure there are super expensive headphones out there that sound amazing. But for the price they sound great. comfort worthy. I feel like they were a bit tight at first, but I didn't notice it after a while, so it might just "break". The microphone sounds great. I also use it for my work meetings and people say it sounds great. I made a Skype test call to hear it for myself and I'll admit it sounded pretty good. As for the problems: 1. The lights - the lighting on them is ridiculous. First they're turned back, so who's the lighting for? I guess invisible people standing behind me watch me play. There's a button on the side that lets you turn them off and get a decent amount of battery back, but it's not permanent, which is REALLY frustrating. You can turn them off in your profile if you use Logitech GHUB, but GHUB is not available for OS X. So when you use them for work, they turn on until I press the button to turn them off. Since it affects the battery, it's a bummer.2. key layout. The buttons on this headset are in the BEST place. I always pressed the buttons when I took off the headset, so I'm always thinking about how to put on or take off the headset. In future Logitech designs, PLEASE just move them down like you would any other decent headset. The power button is also, in my opinion, rear-facing. It's at the top left. To turn on the headset, slide the switch up. Logically it seems that if it was included you would omit it. Feels just left behind towards me.3. sidebar. Each earphone has a plastic plate. One closes the battery and the other closes the factory storage space. This has only happened once so far, but when I put the headset on, my finger caught the edge and it fell slightly to the floor. Again it was only once. But they come off pretty easily. All in all, this is a good headset. I thought about bringing them back but they sound great both sound and mic. Not worth the hassle of returning and paying MORE for another headset. I think if they were a bit more expensive I would return them. But for the price, it's easy to overlook the downsides.
