I've been using a wallet case for my iPhone for over a year and it's great for protecting my device without damaging it. . When I recently got an iPod touch as a gift, I wanted to protect it as much as possible, so I looked for wallets. Don't let the product image fool you - this is a 5th generation iPod case. touch. It goes perfectly with the slimmer design (see photo I've added). Inside the case is a plastic snap-in holder that provides easy access to all buttons and ports. The only minor complaint I have with the brand new case is that the material is a bit sticky and something sticks to my screen. I solved this problem by placing a small microfiber cloth over the screen. I rarely carry cards or money in these wallet-style cases, so I can't speak of their use in that way. I've, on the rare occasion, slipped a few dollars or a card into the slots provided for a quick run to the store, but never left a card in the case for long. I would worry about degaussing the tapes if I did that. The front magnetic closure is pretty solid and sits right where the card strips go. So I would say I don't intend to do that. The slots hold a couple of business cards and a small microfiber cloth well. Here's how I use them. Too crowded, they make it difficult to close flat. I've seen other people complain about this case not allowing access to the volume buttons when closed. It is true. They are accessible through an internal plastic cutout, but not in a closed case. I've used a wallet before and I don't have a hard time opening it and pressing the buttons. I can do it with one hand without even looking. Also, I can also ask Siri to pause the music, but Siri can never find the same song again if I play it again, even if I just paused it! Also, if you're using Apple headphones, they should have a volume control. I also chose a color that perfectly matches the new device. Although I don't usually bother too much about it, it was pretty cool. Pros: Fits well, protects the iPod, especially in a bag or pocket. Cons: New hard vinyl, needs to be opened to change volume
