I've read reviews from people who expected it to be suede but it is NOT. This bag looks like suede, but if you look closely at the photo, it actually looks like a canvas bag. That's it, canvas. The best thing about canvas bags is the cleanliness! As a mom, the easier it is to clean, the better for me. My boys seem to be spilling it all! Also, canvas bags are very durable, which is another big plus for me! I was pleasantly surprised when I realized that the front zippers aren't just for decoration. The front zips open into a very large pocket that extends to the bottom of the bag. Not only do you have a large pocket in the middle of the wallet, you also have a large pocket on the front of the wallet. I can still be well organized with this bag, which is another big plus for mom too. I am very satisfied with this purse and due to the material I expect it to last a very long time! It also didn't have a weird smell.
