Useful as a sun hat or rain hat
I bought this hat last summer to use as a sun hat while I conducted the Census. It gave me fine protection from the sun, was lightweight and stylish. Last night I got caught in a heavy downpour. I was still getting soaked as I hid under an awning and noticed that my hat seemed completely wet. However, once I got home, I noticed that the inside of the hat and my hair remained dry. Very happy with this purchase.
- The hat covers my head completely. The face brim is large but does not obstruct my view!
- The hat may not stay in place during physical activity
