These allow me to listen to the radio while on the tractor, mowing, etc. They're not as good as noise-cancelling foam earbuds, but they're good enough for my ears. don't call later. They aren't as comfortable as foam earplugs, but I can withstand them for 4-5 hours. I would describe the sound quality as "sufficiently good". You don't expect ultra high precision from this type of item. And they're cheap enough to carry an extra set or two in case you end up losing them, tearing them, or the rubber just gets hard, which is what usually happens with all these types of earbuds over time.
