Not ideal, seems to pick up dirt at the top and much more sediment goes through the screen. The screen is not easy to clean. Although it looks very nice. I realized the bad reviews are good about the beginning, and then they switch to a drip. Yes your lid is tight and tight, simple fix, unscrew the lid. However, the flow is still more restricted than one would expect from a nozzle of this size, so it's slow even with the cap removed. I have a feeling the gasket on the filter and the filter holes still limit the pressure drop. Much better than the bag and bottle method. My complaint is no handle, that would be fine.
