Makes great coffee but I've used it twice and now I can't open it. Update: I was disappointed when I wrote the above review because it wouldn't open. The company has since contacted me and is replacing my broken one. I'm adding a star to my rating because I appreciate the company's helpfulness. Makes really great coffee.

Not ideal, seems to pick up dirt at the top and much more sediment goes through the screen. The screen is not easy to clean. Although it looks very nice. I realized the bad reviews are good about the beginning, and then they switch to a drip. Yes your lid is tight and tight, simple fix, unscrew the lid. I bought this item for its stainless steel cap and tube as other cheaper tin caps rusted and the tubes leaked. This item is durable. The lid closes very tightly and the cork is great. My only complaint is that no measures have been taken to reduce the suction created when the lid is placed and liquid is poured out, which creates a vacuum and subsequently makes it very difficult to even remove the lid.
