I'm writing this review after only using it for a few hours, but it works from a TB3 up to a 2018 MacBook Pro with a docking station capable of delivering 85w of power and the docking station appears in Thunderbolt -Device Tree . However, that could be because this dock is also USB-C. So keep this advice in mind. This is a CalDigit USB-C Pro docking station that outputs data to dual monitors via DisplayPort, and connects to a USB 3.2 10Gb/s RAID array (which also uses one of those corner adapters), some other USB 3.0 hard drives, audio Interface and a few other devices. Hubs with things like a mouse and a software dongle. None of the hard drives (all spinning drives) are slower than when connected directly to the MacBook Pro. If it starts to fail I will update this review.
