I'm new to the eyewear world. Right now I just need them to read the fine print. I've seen others forget where the glasses are, so I knew I needed a set that I could wear normally. Now this is the transition to using bifocals. I just had to get used to wearing them a little wider on my nose. Again, probably because he hadn't worn glasses before. But with them I can read whatever I want without having to think about how much of my field of vision I would use for normal vision. The glasses change to darker lenses in sunlight. I have a second pair of blue-blocking (non-increasing) goggles and they change better than these but not as much as my neighbors' transitional goggles. So they can be used anytime, but don't expect them to be as dark as "regular" sunglasses.
