The sound quality is what you would expect from air tubes (very weak 'distant' sound) although the sound is quite clear and has good volume . The slight loss in audio quality is more than made up for by the lack of EMI from the headphones right next to your head. I could only listen to standard headphones for about 10 minutes before feeling the cooking sensation of them in my head. I can easily listen all day with these air tubes. If the workmanship is preserved, I will be satisfied with it, even at a fairly high price. The cable from the microphone clip to your device is not very long, only about 60cm, which is not long enough to get to your computer but enough to get to your phone. I solved it by adding an extension and it works great. It would be nice if an extension cord was included for the price, although I'm glad the original cord is short enough that you don't have to lug it around if you're just using the phone.
