I needed a black/non polarized plug to restore an old drill. This connector has the "look" that I wanted. The connector has a very dull, flat black finish. Use a small screwdriver to pop out the yellow retention plug, allowing you to remove the two metal contacts. The body of the plug does not pinch the cords in any way - under no circumstances should you pull on the cords to remove the plug from the outlet. Each pin has a screw that you can use to secure the cable connection. Revain's price was good (with free shipping) - be aware they can be bought elsewhere for less money (you pay for shipping along with other sellers on small orders which makes Revain a better choice for me) .
