I know the product description says it's for 3-4 year olds but I bought this for my 13 month old. I didn't expect him to put all the pieces together, but he likes to hold some of the longer pieces in his hands. He also likes to put the pieces back in their block of wood and flip the whole thing over as well. Overall, I would say that this is still a well-done toy. The colors are vibrant and the puzzle pieces fit semi-tight (not your typical super-tight puzzle). It also helps to have 4 different puzzles (I can fit the puzzle in multiple places) and I'm glad they are non-toxic, but some of the pieces are a bit small for a toddler. The smallest piece is probably the frog in the animal puzzle, so I hid it in case my kid decides to put it in his mouth. Not a bad toy on hand.
