I bought two of these speakers to go with my new 55 inch LG OLED TV which advertises that you have two Blue Tooth speakers connect for surround sound. As I noted in my in-depth TV review, you can't. Apparently there is a bug in the TV software that doesn't allow two speakers to be connected (only one can be connected) and the connected speaker is barely audible at full volume. It's not the speaker's fault, but I have $200 speakers, one of which just sits unused next to a closet, waiting for LG's computer scientists to come up with a fix. My wife takes a different one to the pool every day and plays music from her phone while she swims. I haven't commented on the battery life as this speaker isn't dead after the first charge. Surround sound now works correctly. The speakers are as good as advertised. When syncing the speaker we were using, I noticed the power light was flashing, indicating it was time to charge. The speaker lasted more than a month with moderate use.
