I usually buy 100% cotton whenever possible but I needed clothes for my boy in the following size and when they were offered for review I decided to try them on even though they are only 60% cotton and 40% modal (synthetic fiber) consist ). ) . I'm definitely not impressed. Although these jogging pants have a great design and look great out of the box, they don't hold up well over time. After about 6 washes and 6 weeks of wear, they stretch and the fabric becomes very thin. It's not something I want to wear in fall/winter/spring, and I certainly don't want to wear sweatpants in summer. They just don't last long and aren't warm enough for anything other than warm indoor clothing. I'm so glad I didn't pay more than $30 for these pants (since I got them for review). In my opinion your money is better invested in big designer brands like Hanna Andersson, Gap or even Carter's than Splendid. I would love to give a better review but I have to be honest about the current condition of these pants. Not recommended.
