I have a twist in my dryer vent so the brushes were too thick to make the twist so I ended up using a piece of metal to hold it firmly in the vent and screwing it with wrapped in a piece of cloth just because it was small enough to get through the bend and pull the lint out of the vent. My dryer ran for two hours and my clothes were still damp. I just kept using this with my drill and pushed a bit with my hands and pulled the rods through the tube with the fabric wrapped end. I ended up with almost half a trash can full of lint from the vent pipe and dryer. I'm glad it didn't burn. Now it works like a new dryer!
