I liked the price, not the potential cost of destroying the VGA slot and GPU just by the force it takes them to fit together. Namely 4+4 into the 8-pin power connector of the card, then there is another 6-pin connector, but it fits well. Wear dental gloves to help you with this as the hardest part is getting one of them to snap as it is pulled into the dental arch. I spent an hour fully inserting 4 pins on pin 8. I ended up (very gently) holding the heat gun to the GPU socket for a few split seconds. Right after that, a 4-pin connector was welcomed. I even spent a day practicing the extensions according to the final shape/arrangement/placement of the old reds they replaced. Red looked good on the MSI Gaming 970 mobo but didn't look good on the B450 Tomahawk so I switched. I really don't like the rigidity of these extension cords, I feel like they're also putting a lot of strain on what they're connected to. But they are new, and soon after so many cycles of heating and cooling they will be "memorizedβ. Or relax if you wish.
