When I bought it I knew it would have limitations and I was ready to accept them. It has no functionality and requires you to know what you are doing - I think with my 35 years of photography experience I would fall into that category. The first hurdle was that the bellows didn't seem to stay in the position I had set. it to. ok after reading some other reviews i noticed that the set screw was not attached. it was somewhere in the plastic bag the fur came in. So the manufacturer removes the set screw to make the package 5mm smaller. Sorry this is not acceptable. I have used/tested the bellows with a Canon 80D with a battery grip. Good thing it didn't work because of the size of the battery grip. So I added a macro extension between the camera body and the bellows to increase the distance and allow the bellows to connect to the body - after all this would only increase the extension and therefore the distance to the lens. I then tested this effect with several lenses: Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM, Tamron Auto Focus 18-270mm f/3.5-6.3 VC, Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II .and Canon EF 180mm f3.5L Macro USM. While I was able to take pictures (in manual mode, of course), it was very awkward to operate --- and most importantly --- especially with Canon lenses - the lenses came off the bellows too easily as there was no latch on the Lens gives side of bellows fuse. Usually the lens is attached to the body or extension, and to remove the lens you need to press the release button - not with a bellows. Sorry but I don't risk dropping a $1000 lens just because it doesn't have the STANDARD feature below. Stay away from this inferior product and don't waste your time.
