Why this product has so many good reviews - I have no idea. The finish is not uniform, it seems that the surface was not sanded precisely before painting. There should also be some sort of sealer on the paintwork to give it a finished look, but there isn't. The wood is brittle, and many parts will not fit together without force, and will creak when pulled apart, even with force. There are also a few pieces that don't hold together. All in all a bad set!
