Very happy with the quality and speed of the HL-L6300dw. I print a lot of PDFs containing charts, images and text for academic and business purposes. Every page I've printed so far looks great. Text is crisp and dark and shadows appear better than on my other printers (HP LaserJet MFP m425 and Lexmark X548 color laser). The Brother driver is very good. It allows you to set the print resolution, toner saving features, and a "quiet mode" which I find very effective. The default setting can produce 48ppm, but the printer was noisier than I would like, so I turned on "Quiet Mode" and was able to get a solid 22-24ppm for text and graphics. I have been able to confirm that the printer can indeed print at 1200 x 1200, which is effective for very fine detail and grayscale but requires higher quality paper. I mostly use 600 x 600 with Toner Save and Silent mode enabled and am very happy with the daily output. I should also note that some other reviews mentioned spots at the top of the pages when it's cold and my first 2 pages had 3 faint spots at the top, but this problem hasn't appeared on any page since.
