Review on CCA Headphones Detachable Tangle Free Audiophile Headphones in Earbud Headphones by Megan Hanson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The purity of the sound will amaze you and will be worth every penny.

This was my first IEM headset and I was blown away by the sound quality. I've had a couple of quality closed-ear headphones (Koss, AT) and some regular in-ear headphones, including a couple of TWS Bluetooth sets -- and none of them sound as clear. I was surprised that the silicone tips included in this kit were fine, but they're absolutely fine (although I will be ordering triple flanged tips for better isolation). They are light and comfortable to wear and look very beautiful. Control this set with Fiio DAC / AMP from my laptop, but I also use it directly with my OnePlus 8 (with a USB Type-C dongle). They need very little power to sound great. I had a mid to high range hearing loss, but I don't hear any of the sibilance that is often mentioned in Chinex IEM headphone reviews. The bass is clean and punchy, the subs are deep, not muddy. I listen to indie/alternative, EDM, some hip hop, shoegaze, and some classical (particularly scores and soundtracks). These CCAs just sound great for everything. I use the digital equalizer on both my laptop (Peace) and Android phone (Wavelet) and easily adjust the U-shape on both to suit my audio preferences. The only downside is the cable, which seems pretty flimsy. Sounds good but I'm afraid it will get stuck or twisted. I can upgrade to a better cable - something you can do with IEMs since they are basically modular. I wouldn't wear them to workout or running as personally I wouldn't wear them every day, especially for commuting or other activities where the cord could get caught on something. But for pure listening, these are now my best headphones.
