CCA Headphones Detachable Tangle Free Audiophile Headphones in Earbud Headphones Review

I have no experience with headphones, these are my first. Coming from a pair of Sony MDRXB50APs. The CCA C12 is much better, I hear a lot more highs and I hear vocals very clearly. I think they have the same bass.

I love these headphones, I've replaced the ear pads with double flanged tips from another brand of headphones and that makes them perfect. The modular design allows me to quickly switch between wired and Bluetooth configurations, although the Bluetooth quality degrades a bit.

I use them for in-ear headphones and am quite happy with the sound of the CCA C12. They are way better than the Sony I've used. I bought a redesigned cable (mainly for the adjustment bead to make it easier to store) and a set of foam inserts. My only complaint is that they are not very comfortable in my right ear. The left one is fine, so it's probably just a difference in how it fits my right ear. I still prefer them over the Sony and others I've tried.

I bought the medium foam in-ears because I read the reviews about the standard in-ears being uncomfortable. After trying different sizes of foam and shank tips, I found that medium shank tips fit me best. I updated the dual driver ESTs and they are fine but the CCAs are great! I hear the instruments separated and clear with good isolation. I play bass and stand next to drums and I can still create a mix in my head that exceeds my expectations.

Bought these headphones as drum and bass headphones. I am familiar with CCA having been using C10 for some time now. There isn't much of a difference between the two, but the low end is fuller and more focused on the 12, and the overall tonal range is more defined. This was my first IEM headset and I was blown away by the sound quality. I've had a couple of quality closed-ear headphones (Koss, AT) and some regular in-ear headphones, including a couple of TWS Bluetooth sets -- and none of them sound as clear. I was surprised that the silicone tips included in this kit were fine, but they're absolutely fine (although I will be ordering triple flanged tips for better isolation). I play guitar and sing at church a few times a week and have tried them out versus my current kz zx10 pros. Now they are very similar in price so I thought it was worth comparing. For now I'll say I hear more with the c12s when doing this, but my ears prefer the natural EQ of the zs10 pros more. With a flat EQ mix, I would go for the zs10 pro.
