So. My coffee maker almost died and I wanted to try a french press so I went with this one. I WILL NEVER GO BACK! The coffee tastes sooooo good and you can see the oils floating on top because there is no paper/metal filter to catch it all. I also really like that I can easily change the strength of the scent so it lasts longer. I have a few friends who wanted to try it and two who actually bought it. My only friend doesn't really like it because she's always chasing and doesn't have time for extra steps (you have to heat the water first and then lower the plunger at the end), but my other friend doesn't mind and just has all the steps in between taken up with their usual routine of morning prep, as did I. I can't think of a better way to make coffee. The decanter is durable and easy to use and clean. Also, they're sending an extra screen for the plunger and milk frother (but I haven't used the frother yet). This is very advantageous for a quality product!
