Works great even if the remote control is broken.

I actually bought this to hide a broken glass pane on my Apple Remote but it's perfect for that. I think it would have saved me from a broken remote if I had bought one sooner. This was a much better option than buying a new Apple remote to avoid nicks and cuts from continued use of the broken glass remote. I am very happy with this case!
