I used these to make wheeled shoe racks to match my rail closet system. I attached them to prefabricated chipboard shoe racks with nails. Thus, four bearings support the weight of the chipboard and six pairs of shoes. They work: the shelves roll and do the job I need. However, I probably should have used steel bearings as they run a bit out of true and tend to bind. However, for this project it doesn't matter.
