The connecting rods go between the wheels!
I'll sleep in it every night. Very pleasant so far. No instructions. It took me a second to realize that the bars fit between the wheels to keep them from folding. Simply place the bars across the wheels to hold the two bars together, then insert the wheels, screw in the nut and you're done. Very convenient. Not for a fat or tall person. Great for small adults, 5'5-5-8' and I'd say under 140lbs. I recommend the mattress topper for extra comfort and it's wonderful.
