The metal bracket is very fragile.
I really like these lights but the build quality leaves a lot to be desired. I adjusted the mount a bit and one of them broke. The other one eventually broke and when I got home one afternoon I found the whole assembly hanging from a wire. Love these lights but had to make new brackets out of scrap aluminum and some black paint to keep them working. Another of those "you get what you pay for" stories.
