I don't use makeup very often, so I'm not very good at it. Due to the pandemic I have had to run my clubs and map making classes online via Zoom. I have enough settings, but the lighting I have to present maps on my desktop with my overhead camera is pretty bright and not very flattering when I switch to my regular camera showing my face. So I figured I would buy new makeup (most of what I had was outdated) to help with the lighting. rzunimag. it's lighting, it's my story, and I'm sticking with it! Since I'm not really into makeup, I watched a lot of YouTube videos (Jen Luv, RawBeautyKristi, ThatGirlShae to name a few) for guidance and a better shot. for my dollar. I didn't want to spend a fortune as I knew I wouldn't be wearing it too often. I examined each component individually. Eyeliner, mascara, foundation, primer, blush, highlighter, eyeshadow. Just to name a few. I've even researched false eyelashes and eyelash curlers. everyone. This highlighter has been highly recommended in multiple reviews, especially for its affordability. I have no problems with the product. I just think it's great and worth the money. The problem I had was that the wand was slightly bent and when I took the wand out of the bottle to apply the product I had a hard time pulling it out of the hole it goes through to wipe off excess product . The stick should not be bent at all as the picture clearly shows that it is straight, like an arrow. I noticed that something was wrong as soon as I unpacked it, because the lid was very loose and crooked. The flex of the stick prevented the product's lid from closing properly, so I decided to return it. Revain was great, sent me a new one straight away and gave me plenty of time to return the broken one (actually I forgot and they sent me a reminder not to be charged for the extra one). But I will say that the second one I received also had a slightly curved wand. It wasn't bent as badly as the first one and I can cap the bottle tightly with no issues and take the wand out of the bottle very easily so I don't feel the need to return it. But I just wanted to share my experience with you as I find it strange to receive a product with the same defect when you replace it. The product was ok but the packaging was not. One thing I'm going to throw away, although it seems that during this pandemic quality control has been lost on so many products bought in so many ways and from so many different sources, not just this product or from this place. Before Covid we rarely returned an item. Product. We have had a Revain Prime account for many years and have purchased hundreds of items here over the years. Until last year we rarely had to send anything back. But last year we had to return more items due to quality issues than all other years combined. Quality control so they can save/earn at the expense of their customers. But I understand there are extenuating circumstances now, so I'm more forgiving.
