So this is doping.

First off, let me say that I really dislike RTA furniture (ready to assemble). It's not built to be very durable, and certainly not to last a lifetime. HOWEVER. I was looking for a specific size and style of solid wood cabinet so I could paint it my chosen color which turned out to be light grey. I couldn't find what I wanted then I found this item and thought that for the simple use it would see in our bathroom that would be enough. The item was well packaged and arrived safely. What you need to assemble: Phillips screwdriver and half a brain. (If you're experienced with RTA cabinets, you can go without half your brains, but instead stay awake.) NOT AND I KNOW you'll want to use a cordless drill or impact tool to put these things together. You will tear off the MDF board and the piece will be useless. Be careful when tightening all parts, even by hand. The instructions are extremely easy, in fact I threw mine away after step 3. However, there are two things to note. 1. When installing the bottom panel (#5) ensure it is oriented so that the dowel hole underneath faces the front of the unit, it will fit either side so save yourself the trouble of removing it after installation and turning in the wrong direction . 2. Scary warning notice. lol. Just flip the panel so it's either at the back of the cabinet or in the half of the cabinet where the door and shelf are, which is what I did. Therefore, it cannot be seen unless the door is open and you are lying on the ground. in summary. In my particular case, everything fitted perfectly, everything was correct and tight once it was finished and I'm happy with the finished product. It's a nice little device and will do the job. How long depends on how you treat him (or treat him badly). I replaced the doorknob with one that matched what I bought for another closet in the room so it would blend in nicely. Now I can take the shelf to my local paint supplier and color match the rest of my closet. unfinished wooden furniture in the bathroom.
