Bought to use as a bedspread (I'm a heavy sleeper and don't like bulky comforters or duvets), bought the 'light grey' color twice the size. It's not the softest duvet (100% cotton after all) but it's nice and light and makes my bed look made up, which is exactly what I wanted. It has a convex texture, so when you lie on it, it leaves small marks on the skin. But it's long enough to cover my double bed, with plenty of extra fabric to tuck under the mattress to keep it from jerking. Machine wash with no noticeable shrinkage. It appears to be made out of durable fabric so should last a while.
