They work and the finished product is beautiful and has survived a full wash and dryer. After our first attempt failed, we found a working system. The iron should be no hotter than the flame. Don't skimp on time, the larger the design the longer you have to go, the smallest transfers take at least 30 full seconds each way (turn the item over and heat the other side for another full time). Press, press firmly on the iron. Cool, yes, let the transfers cool before peeling them off, and finally peel SLOWLY. If they don't transfer, you can try heating them again, and even then you'll have to "touch it up" many times by using your fingernail and/or pressing on the material directly where it's peeling from the transfer. You have to go slow and be careful, and then yes, it will work. We managed to make 4 complete Halloween shirts after completely failing our first attempt.
