It is very, very difficult to connect this device to your network. If you have Wi-Fi that works in the 2.4-5G band, you need to reconfigure the gateway. All your phones/iPads connect via the 5G side of the gateway. Your other home devices use the 2.4G side of the gateway. That's where the problem occurs. When you use your phones/tablets to pair with this lamp, your phone is on the 5G network and this lamp is on the 2.4G network. They are not communicating with each other and therefore you cannot pair the device. You will need to reconfigure your gateway to separate 2.4g and 5g. You rename your SSIDs, the original name is 2.4g, and add 5g at the end of the second SSID that uses 5g WiFi. After you save and continue, connect your phone to the original SSID, which now only works on 2.4g after doing all these renames, and your phone will connect. Then you can connect this lamp. After you've paired it, go back to your WiFi gateway, undo what you renamed, save and continue. It's a pain to plug this lamp in!
