I use a monitor with multiple inputs in my office without any problems: - I connect my work laptop as a third monitor via Displayport - I connect my personal laptop to HDMI - I connect a Google TV to an HDMI adapter that I have I have connected an audio output, my external speaker primarily plays the sound from Google TV, but the sound from my own laptop also works without any problems. 2 elements that surprised me and work great: - Picture in Picture allows me to work and view Google TV on a small screen in the top right corner with the sound playing. - Hotkeys can be reprogrammed, so I changed the hotkeys to PIP, Volume, Input. I'm not a gamer but the picture quality is way, way, way better compared to my old 2nd monitor.
