Great for repelling mice and bugs
I'm hoping to use this on the AT for nights when I'm sleeping in shelters to keep mice and bugs from walking all over me and my stuff. This is perfect for this purpose and keeps the mesh away from my body while I sleep. He's also not big enough to be obnoxious when sharing space with others. A bit awkward to carry due to the large diameter of the packed tent when packed, but I think the utility outweighs this inconvenience!
