Very very satisfied

I struggled for some time getting a dual signal between our main 4K TV and a 1080P TV in another room. For some sources this will work fine. For other sources video would be great but there would be no sound at all. With some other sources I would get neither video nor audio. This little box solved ALL of those problems. Setting up this splitter/extractor is very easy, but note that port 1 does not offer any downscaling. I connected our 1080P TV to port 1 of the ViewHD splitter and had no luck. I then switched to port 2 and everything looked and sounded perfect. I first missed the fine print in the manual which clearly states, that port 1 does not support downscaling. If I had seen it right away the entire installation would take about 5 minutes. Since I skipped that info, the install took maybe 10 minutes, even with my error the first time I tried to use port 1. I am delighted with this little box and will probably buy another one for a similar installation in my house son. .Highly recommended when trying to split the signal between a 4K TV and a second lower resolution TV. when I first tried to use port 1.
